Abdus and Ryan Finnerty are two of MKAF's biggest hopefuls at this years British Amateur Championships at the end of April. The competition will be held at Britians biggest sports combat show, SENI on Sat 26th April. We will be uping the training and preperation for thes guys and the others who will be stepping up to the centre stage at Britians biggest amateur competition!

Good luck to all the guys from MKAF competing at the 2008 British Amateur's! Training will be alot more intense over the coming weeks!

2007 has been a great year for MKAF!  We've seen up and coming armwrestlers who were considered as tomorrow’s champions, compete…and beat the best armwrestlers in the UK, we’ve purchased 3 new armwrestling tables, we've been crowned as the best club in the UK, Steve Kirlew won the best armwrestler award, and even met the Queen!!!  Now that's a successful year!!!
First of all we saw Dean Scarsbrook shockingly defeat Steve Rogers, bringing Steve back from a loosing position!! Steve Rogers has been the most dominant armwrestler in any weight class for years which makes this win even more impressive! Dean has only been armwrestling for just over 12 months and has now been given a shot at Steve’s title in April 2008! We’ll be bringing some more gold home soon enough!
We then saw Scott Ferguson destroying the former European bronze medallist Ian Stones in a 5:1 challenge match victory!!! Scott has also only been armwrestling for just over 12 months and is already competitive with the best armrmwrestlers in the UK! We’ve also seen Scott convincingly beat Ted Wilson this year who is the current European bronze medallist!!! Now that’s impressive!
MKAF will take a 2 week break for Christmas and new years and will be back on Tuesday 8th Jan! My birthday's on the 9th so go easy on me the first day back!
I'll be training all throughout those 2 weeks at my house so if anyone's interested in working off a few mince pies, I have a table, weights and bars so just let me know and i'll show you how to train to be the best!
