My name's Alan, I'm 19 from Coventry. I began to get interested in AW when arm wrestling my Granddad, who used to AW when he was younger in the Polish Army. Having now surpassed him, I took to challenging school mates. I've now got to the stage where no one wants to AW me anymore : (
So, I've been thinking of joining a club. However, I'm not aware of a club in Cov or Birmingham. Can you guys help please?!?

Cheers

Big Al

Hi Alan,

Im pretty sure the nearest club is the one here in MK, i can get to the Stadium there in 45 minutes to give you an idea on travel time or by trian the club is right next to wolverton train station in Milton Keynes.
Is that of any help?

Alan,
I live in Cov and have an AW table at my house. I'm very busy at the moment, but maybe we can hook-up for a pull sometime.

I've also been training with Mr Sanders in bham. There are a few good pullers that go around to his house to train, including a couple of heavy/super-heavy novices. If you look on the Rossendale AW forum, you can contact him direct.

I'm sure that MK have a great club with talent in depth so training with them would be a great experience too.

There's a few options for you anyway!

Best of luck,
Anthony

Anthony - Yeah I'm up for that and thanks for your help!

Jason - Really enjoyed the session at Milton Keynes, came last Monday but nobody seemed to be around, did I get the times wrong or something? Next Monday I hear is not happening. When is the next session?

cheers

Yeah you got the right time, it just seemed that things got in the way of everyone! I was stuck in london, Ryan hurt his wrist and so on.
There is a big comp on the 24th and generaly people dont train in the week before to recover fully in preperation and sometimes the week after due to injury but i should imagine there will be people there on the 26th (though im away that week) but definatly on the 2nd!
Sorry about Monday, PM me your number and ill update you in future if anything like this happens again

Hi Alan, sorry to here no one else was there. Its happened to me once, but i don't have to travel as much as you. I will try my best to be there on the 9th, im sure more people will turn up. I have taken a few weeks off myself so i can't really blame anyone for their rest, i would recommend keeping in touch with the members of the club via facebook.
